MAGNETIC RECORDER

PURPOSE:To prevent the seizure of a magnetic head by disposing a cooling element in the upstream of a cylinder in such a manner as to come into contact with a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic tape 3 is transported by a take-up reel from a supply reel by traveling around a cylinder 1 which is mounted with a magnetic head and rotates at a high speed. The tape comes into contact with plural posts 4 for traveling and the magnetic head 5 handling signals exclusive of video signals. The cooling post 2 is disposed in the upstream of the cylinder 1 and is pressed to the magnetic tape. The cooling post 2 includes a thermoelectric cooling element, post and fin. The constitution of the cooling post 21 as a revolving post is extremely advantageous. The temp. and humidity in the magnetic recorder are detected by a sensor 2j and fuzzy inference is made. The current quantity necessary for the thermoelecric cooling element is then supplied as the decided arithmetic value. The cooling temp. or dew condensation temp. of the cooling post 2 is fuzzy controlled in this way.
