<p>PURPOSE:To detect the desired tape position corresponding to the recording condition of a tape by selecting a tape position detecting method in accordance with presence or absence of the records such as the address of an absolute time on the tape. CONSTITUTION:The signals inputted from an input terminal 1 are inputted to a RAM 5 through an input circuit 2, an A/D converter 3 and a signal processing circuit 4. The circuit 4 performs a digital signal processing, a subcode processing circuit 14 adds subcode signals and a recording/reproducing head 8 records the signals through a recording circuit 7. During a reproduction, the recorded signals are read by the head 8 and recorded in the RAM 5 through a reproducing circuit 9. Having processed in the circuit 4, the signals, whose subcodes are separated by the circuit 14, are outputted to an output terminal 13 through a D/A converter 11 and an output circuit 12. The circuit 14 decodes the subcode signals which are separated and sends them to a control section 15. The control section 15 stores the absolute time contained in the subcode signals in a register 20 and updates it.</p> |
