PURPOSE:To improve the color balance of a liquid crystal display device provided with a segment electrode in an interdigital state. CONSTITUTION:First and second segment electrodes 24 and 25 are formed in the interdigital state so that mutual teeth of combs are fitted, and a third segment electrode 26 is consecutively formed in the gap of the interdigital electrodes of the first and the second segment electrodes 24 and 25 with 1/2 width of the first and the second segment electrodes 24 and 25. The electrode width of the third segment electrode 26 whose pattern repeating pitch is 1/2 of another electrode is set to 1/2 of the electrode width of another electrode, so that the color filter having an optional color can be formed on the segment electrodes 24, 25 and 26. And when a blue color filter whose visibility is low is formed on the third segment electrode 26, the color balance is especially improved. |
