<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of sound discontinuation when a magnetic tape is reversed from its A-face to B-face. CONSTITUTION:When the terminating end of a magnetic tape comes, pulses outputted from rotating plates 30 and 31 respectively fitted to reel shafts 26 and 27 are supplied to a remaining quantity/time detection circuit 36 and auto reverse is performed. At the time of recording, signals to an input terminal 10 are written in a RAM 29 during the period of the reversing operations of a driving mechanism caused by the auto reverse. The input signals written in the RAM 29 are after-recorded on part of the magnetic tape after the recording mode. At the time of reproducing operations, on the other hand, the post- recorded signals are written in the RAM 29 after reproduction and read out during the period of the reversing operations of the driving mechanism caused by the auto reverse.</p> |
