- The invention relates to a method for assembling two components, the first of which is of the sandwich type comprising two strong skins between which is placed a core, whilst the second is made of metal. - According to the invention: . a recess (reserve) (6) is provided in an end (1A) of the said first component (1) so that the edge of the said core (5) is set back from the respective edges of the said skins (3, 4); . an end (2A) of the said second component (2) is shaped so that it engages in the recess (6) provided in the first component; . transverse passages (7) are made in the fitted ends of the said components; and . an adhesive material is injected, via the said transverse passages, into the clearances resulting from the manufacturing tolerances of the said fitted ends (1A, 2A), the said adhesive material fastening the said first and second components together. <IMAGE>
