PURPOSE:To provide a solar battery with satisfactory characteristics and high durability at the time of actual use and the manufacture of solar battery, in which this solar battery can be manufacture with a good yield. CONSTITUTION:In a thin-film solar battery formed by the accumulation of semiconductor layers on a substrate, the upper parts of the semiconductor layers 103, 104 and 105 are coated with a passivation layer 107 composed of high- molecular resin, an upper electrode 108 composed of conductive paste is laminated on the passivation layer and a collector electrode 109 obtained by electro-plating is laminated on the upper electrode. As a manufacturing method, the upper parts of the semiconductor layers are coated with the passivation layer composed of the high-molecular resin, the upper electrode composed of the conductive paste containing components capable of dissolving the high-molecular resin is laminated on the passivation layer and the collector electrode is laminated on the upper electrode by electroplating. |
