The invention relates to an air distribution device 10 and method for regulating such a device. The air distribution device comprises an inlet air connection 12, from whence the air is made to flow into an inlet chamber E inside the air distribution device 10 connected to a regulator 12 for the blowing pattern and on by way of a flow hole D or the like to an interior room space. The regulator 13 of the blowing pattern comprises a regulator plate 13 with multiple sections 13a1, 13a2, ... 13an.
