Two input terminals (11, 12) for channels for the signals of two polarisation planes received from a communication satellite are connected by branches of a circuit terminating in a distributor (8). The signal applied to one terminal (11) is converted to a mixer (6) and the signal at the other terminal (12) is not converted. Each terminal is connected to its own filter (1,2) and the mixer is followed by a further filter (7). The two signals from the first branch and the signal from the parallel branch are passed to the distributor. USE/ADVANTAGE - Particularly for Astra 1A and 1B type satellites. Double distribution cable or switching system is not required.
