Disclosed herein is a process for preparing a tubular plastic film in which the inner and the outer surfaces are treated simultaneously by running the film having a gas sealed therein so that the inner surfaces of the film are not in contact with each other, between at least a pair of electrode units opposed to each other with a predetermined gap and each having a plurality of concaves at the surface (specifically, having a woven fabric or a mesh-like product covered at the surface thereof) while bringing the film in contact with the surface of the electrode units and applying a corona discharge treatment, by which the inner surface and the outer surface of the tube can be applied with the corona treatment continuously at the same time by the effect of a gas present in the concaves and the sealed gas, so that a plastic film of excellent adhesion to meat and printability can be obtained.
