Textile card includes an air extn. arrangement to cover the opening roller, the clearer for the revolving flats, the doffer roll, and the fibre delivery zone. Further air extn. takes place under the swift entry and exit, with a common extn. box and air duct. This has a magnetic regulated cover, which swivels inside the extn. box between one type of air extn. tube from the bottom, and the other tubes which are situated at the top of the machine. ADVANTAGE - There is economy of energy for the air extn. system, and also of space and equipment.
