The actuator has a housing (G) enclosing an electric motor (E) and a multi-stage gearing. The last stage of the gearing is coupled to an output shaft (A) acting on a setting element, via an electromagnetic clutch (K) comprising an armature plate (P) and an electromagnet (M).
