The handling attachment for containers which have an end frame (12), a closure frame (14) and swivel mounted closure flap (16) has rollers (20) which can be set underneath the end wall (12) and an eyelet (22) for a transport hook. This eyelet can be set underneath the closure frame (14) and projects out over the closure flap (16). Both the height of the roller bearing with rollers as well as the height of the part of the eyelet underneath the flap do not extend beyond the longitudinal supports mounted underneath the container. USE/ADVANTAGE - The containers can be handled independently of the refuse collecting vehicle. (Dwg.4/4)
