<p>A separator comprises a body 1 defining a single top inlet 2 and eight lower outlets A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, such body 1 being shaped as an upside down "Y", so that the inlet duct 2 faces two lower outlet ducts 4, 5 which are each partitioned by walls 6 and 7 to provide the eight outlets. The inlet duct 2 is provided with a rocking lever 12 and a pair of deviating rocking levers 14, driven by respective electro-magnetic coils 17, 18 and the lower ducts are provided with two valves 19, 19', also rocking and driven by yet another electro-magnetic coil 24. The separator is fitted at the outlet of a coin selector/discriminator which sends signals to the coils 17, 18 and 24 so that a coin 3 entering inlet 2 is directed by the levers and valves into a desired outlet. <IMAGE></p> |
