摘要 <p>A body cavity pressure adjusting device for an endoscope (1) comprising a first channel (11) for receiving a medical tool therein, a suction tube (14), suction means (15) connected to and communicating with said suction tube (14), pressure detecting means (16) for detecting pressure inside said body cavity, pressure setting means (22a) for setting a predetermined value for the body cavity pressure, suction control means (25) for controlling the operation of said suction means upon an output signal from said pressure detecting means (16) and an output signal from said pressure setting means (22a), an air supply device (6) connectable to an air supply channel (8) in the endoscope (1), one end of the suction tube (14) being connected to the first channel (11), the other end of the suction tube (14) being connected to the suction means (15) by a first branch (15c) and to the pressure detecting means (16) by a second branch (14a, 18, 19) for measuring the air pressure in the body cavity through the second branch (14a, 18, 19), the suction tube (14) and the first channel, wherein said pressure detecting means (16) is provided on said branch pipe (14a) of said second branch which branch pipe branches off said suction tube (14), said suction tube (14) and said branch pipe (14a) being arranged respectively horizontally and vertically at the branched portion.</p>
