In a positioning structure for a frame (7) and brackets (2) in a modular-type wiper device, positioning protrusions (10b) provided on an assembly jig (10) are passed through respective first positioning holes (7b) provided in the frame and fitted into respective positioning recess (2b) provided in each of the device brackets (2) so as to set the frame and the brackets in position with respect to the assembly jig, and positioning protrusions (2c) provided on each of the brackets (2) are passed through respective second positioning holes (7c) provided in the frame so as to effect a relative positioning between the frame and each bracket.
