ANTI-GANGLIOSIDE GD1A MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY MZ, MZ-PRODUCING CELLS AND MZ-CONTAINING REAGENT Disclosed is a novel anti-ganglioside GD1a monoclonal antibody (MZ) which is capable of recognizing ganglioside GD1a but is practically incapable of recognizing GalCer, LacCer, Gb3, Gb4, GA1, GA2, GM1, GM2, GM3, GD1b, GT1b, GQ1b, Fuc-GM1, nLc4 and sialosyl nLc4; MZ-producing cells; an MZ-containing reagent; and a method for the detection or quantification of GD1a using the reagent, e.g., to diagnose cancer, systematic lupus erythematosus and diseases resulting from organic injury of the nervous system. |
