PURPOSE:To obtain a printability tester capable of automatically, uniformly and quantitatively supplying ink and simply and rationally perform printing without an individual difference by providing an ink uniform and quantitative supply device uniformly supplying ink to an ink distributing roll in the lateral direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:The principal part of a printability tester is constituted of an RI tester 51, an ink uniform and quantitative supply device 2 and a control part 3 controlling the drive parts of both of them. The ink uniform and quantitative supply device 2 is constituted of an ink emitting device 4 and the uniaxial table 5 feeding said device 4 and a fixed amount of ink is emitted to an ink distributing roll 54 from the ink emitting device 4 so as to become a straight line in the lateral direction of said roll 54 while the ink emitting device 4 is moved at a constant speed by the uniaxial table 5. As the ink emitting device 4, compressed air or a motor pump is used and the emitting amount of ink is adjusted by controlling the pressure of compressed air or the number of rotations of the motor pump corresponding to the viscosity of the ink. Further, a pulse motor 6 is provided to the ink distributing roll 54 to control an ink distributing time. |
