PURPOSE:To provide a polygon mirror machining device in which runout and dislocation of a machining jig fitted with a cutting tool is not caused while it is turned, and in which the machining accuracy of the polygon mirror surface is not reduced by vibration. CONSTITUTION:A machining jig 2 to which a cutting tool 1 has been fitted is integrally constructed with the moving element of an ultrasonic motor, and the surface of a polygon mirror 8 is machined by turning the vibrator 3 of the ultrasonic motor.
