PURPOSE:To facilitate a return operation toward the state of a released brake while sufficiently strong braking force (energizing force) is secured. CONSTITUTION:In a moving body braking device having a moving body A which moves along a guide rail B and is provided with a braking means 7 energized toward the state of an active brake for stopping movement and holding means 10, 11 to keep the braking means 7 in the state of a released brake, and the guide rail B which is provided with brake operating means 14, 15 to release the holding state of the holding means 10, 11 for making the braking means 7 execute braking action, the moving body A is provided with a booster type return operating member 10 to return the braking means 7 toward the state of the released brake for making the holding means 10, 11 hold the braking means 7 in the state of the released brake. |
