PURPOSE:To provide the non-contact signal transmission device of a simple structure which can execute a signal transmission of non-contact with high reliability between a rotary part and a fixed part even when the rotary part is formed to a large diameter, or even when it is hollow. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a ring-like electrooptical effect element 4 which is placed coaxially against the rotation center of a slip ring rotary part 2, and also, in which an optical state is varied in accordance with a transmitting output of a transmitting system and an optical coupler 5 which can receive an emitted light from a light emitting element side by a light receiving element side through the electrooptical effect element 4, and the electrooptical effect element 4 is attached to the slip ring rotary part 2, and the optical coupler 5 is attached to a slip ring fixed part 3.
