PURPOSE:To suppress the projection of a cover member to the inside of a car room. CONSTITUTION:A cover member 21 for shielding the opened port part 25 for bulging-out of an air bag 28 is installed always in urged state in the opening direction in slidable manner in slide screen form or hoisted screen form. In case of side surface collision, a hooking mechanism for maintaining the shielded state of the cover member 21 is released and opened, and the air bag 28 projects to the inside of a car room from the opened port part 25, and a driver is protected from the secondary collision. |
