<p>PURPOSE:To form a flat part having almost a fixed wall thickness and ensure fixing strength and water-tightness by heating and softening a local part of a synthetic resin pipe, and molding it with a die provided in the inner part. CONSTITUTION:After a through-hole 13 is formed in a synthetic resin pipe 1, the circumference of the through hole 13 is heated and softened, a die 4 having a flat upper surface is inserted through the opening end of the synthetic resin pipe 1, and the softened local part is drawn outward to form a flat part 12. The local part of the synthetic resin pipe 1 has almost an equal thickness, since the contact part with the die 4 is first drawn, and its circumference is then gradually drawn. A socket short pipe 2 is inserted through the through-hole 13 from the outside of the synthetic resin pipe 1, a rubber ring 3 is inserted between the through-hole 13 and the socket short pipe 2, a working jig 7 is pressed onto the lower end part of the socket short pipe 2 by a jack 6 to extend the diameter of the lower end part of the socket short pipe 2 until it is closely adhered to the rubber ring 3.</p> |
