<p>PURPOSE:To achieve the conservation of space when a manuscript press-bonding device is incorporated in an image forming apparatus and to easily perform bookbinding by providing the manuscript press-bonding device having bookbinding bunction added thereto. CONSTITUTION:A heating element 21 is provided to the paper bundle receiving recessed part 19 formed to a manuscript press-bonding device R. The heating element 21 is energized by an energy source provided in the device body 1 and bookbinding function is added to the manuscript press-bonding device R to conserve space. If a pressure lever 23 and a lower guide moving plate pressing a paper bundle 5 so as to eliminate gaps between leaves and prevent upper leaves from becoming loose, bookbinding of good quality can be easily performed.</p> |
