FIXING DEVICE FOR END SLEEVE FOR PIPELINE

PURPOSE:To fix and connect the connecting port of a structure through a sleeve to the ends of a pipeline through which communication cables to be laid between structures are inserted. CONSTITUTION:A given width of annular housing groove 10 is formed on the peripheral side of a pipe end sleeve 5 to be fit on the connecting port 4 of a structure 1. A spongy part 11 impregnated with an adhesive resin and a press ring 12 to be move in the axial direction for compressing the spongy part 11 are housed in the groove 10, and a mover for moving the ring 12 toward the axial direction from the inside of the structure 1 is also provided. The spongy part 11 is impregnated with adhesive resin and the sleeve 5 is fit on the connecting port 4 of the structure under the condition that the spongy part 11 is wound around the inside of the groove 10. The ring 12 is moved to the axial direction to press the part 11 in order to squeeze out the adhesive resin, and the part 11 is hardened for air-tight fixation.
