PURPOSE:To roll a work piece in all directions so as to obtain an accurate form of sphericity, hold the position of the work piece not be changed from beginning to completion of working, and easily out the work piece after completion of working. CONSTITUTION:The work face of a lower shaft grinding wheel 2 is provided opposite to the work face of an upper shaft grinding wheel 1. Circumferential grooves 3, 4 concentric to respective rotary axes are formed on respective opposed work faces. The rotary axis of the upper shaft grinding wheel 1 and the rotary axis of the lower shaft grinding wheel 2 are mutually eccentrically arranged. Work pieces 5, 6 are respectively rollably held on the positions where the grooves 3 of the upper shaft grinding wheel 1 and the groove 4 of the lower shaft grinding wheel 2 are crossed with each other. |
