PURPOSE:To provide an abnormality diagnostic unit for rotary equipment which organically processes on-line and off-line data using a single device, performs soundness diagnosis according to the different characteristics of various kinds of rotary equipment and detects abnormalities in the operation of the rotary equipment at early stages. CONSTITUTION:An abnormality diagnostic unit for rotary equipment has sensors 8-12 permanently provided to rotary equipment, a sampling means for on-line data from the sensors 8-12, a sampling means for off-line data recorded on a recording medium, computers 24,33, and a means for diagnosing data by selectively feeding the on-line and off-line data to the computer 33. The diagnostic unit further includes a judging means which interrupts the computer 33 when there is a symptom of abnormality in the data and a diagnostic means which performs detailed diagnosis of the data showing the symptom of abnormality by using the computer 33 during interruption. |
