PURPOSE:To prevent generation of the malfunction such as a damage of a shaft gear or the like of a transmission to be caused by generation of a peak torque, which is to be generated when a foreign material bites in a control valve for connecting/disconnecting a clutch and the oil pressure of the clutch rises suddenly, in a transmission for switching a clutch by means of the oil pressure at the time of speed change, such as an epicyclic gear type or a multi- shaft/multi-disc clutch type transmission or the like, by providing a peak torque generation preventing device for transmission. CONSTITUTION:At the time of generation of a peak torque, since a change rate of the rotation of a clutch input shaft becomes larger than that of air ordinary time, a speed sensor detects the rotating speed of the clutch input shaft omega1i per sampling time t, and a rate of change domega1i/dt of the rotating number of the input shaft omega1i is computed on the basis of the equation domega1i/dt=(omega1i-omega1i-1)/ t. ¦ddivided by 1i/dt¦ and a limit value of a rate of change of the rotation domega1C/dt are compared, and in the case where ¦domega1i/dt¦>domega1C/dt, a symptom of generation of the peak torque is judged to cancel the speed change command and actuate an alarm. |
