A device for handling patients who are confined to bed consists of a hoisting appliance having bars 22, 23 at the long sides of the bed, with it being possible to secure an underlay, which is made of textile material and which is in several parts, at the bars, which latter can be raised and lowered and rotated individually. According to the invention, use is made of a carriage which can be separated from the bed and which carries the bars and a drive unit 31 for moving them upwards and downwards, respectively, and for rotating them. <IMAGE> |
