PURPOSE:To provide silk yarn with complete printing resist properties against anionic dye and to give the silk yarn with dyeability increasing properties to stand practical use against anionic dye by chemically modifying silk without damaging feeling and luster of silk. CONSTITUTION:Silk immersed in an aqueous solution of sulfamic acid and treated by pad dry curing method so that sulfone group is introduced into silk yarn, the silk yarn is provided with complete printing resist properties against anionic dye and with dyeability increasing properties against cationic dye. |
