PURPOSE:To keep humidity in a chilled case, contained in a low temperature chamber, at a high value so that an influence is not exercised by a set temperature in a refrigerating chamber by a method wherein a heater for a top surface cooling plate located on the under surface of a partition wall in a manner to be positioned facing the top cooling plate is controlled by means of a temperature sensor in the chilled case. CONSTITUTION:A chilled case 7 provided on an upper surface with a top surface cooling plate 16 is arranged below a partition wall 4 by which a freezing chamber 2 is partitioned away from a refrigerating chamber 3. A heater 22 for a top surface cooling plate is arranged on the under surface of the partition wall 4 in a manner to be positioned facing the top surface cooling plate 16. The heater 22 for a top surface cooling plate is controlled by means of a temperature sensor 23 located in the chilled case 7. Or, the heater 22 used for both defrosting of the top surface cooling plate and heat insulation of the chilled case, a heater for a refrigerating chamber, and a damper are controlled by means of thermistors disposed in the chilled case and the refrigerating chamber. This constitution enables keeping of temperature in the chilled case 7 at a constant value. |
