<p>PURPOSE:To preclude occurrence of fluttering phenomena by locating a king pin shaft in the center of a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION:Movable brackets 17, 25, 27 are mounted on an upper and a lower guide rail 16, 24 which are formed in a circular arc and secured to a car body, and the bracket 17 is connected with the upper part of a knuckle arm 11 through an upper arm 12. The brackets 25, 27 are connected with the lower part of the knuckle arm 11 through No.1 and No.2 lower arm 13, 14. The knuckle arm 11 revolves with displacement of a tie rod 15 in the axial direction to cause rotating of a steering wheel 10, and now the brackets 17, 25, 27 also move on the guide rails 16, 24. If the curvatures of these guide rails are set so that the centers of the curvatures are located identically to the vertical center shaft of the steering wheel 10, the king pin shaft will also be located identically to the same center shaft of steering wheel.</p> |
