PURPOSE:To reduce a movement amount of a lock amount of a lock device for preventing removal of a position pin constituting an operating device for an automatic transmission from a specific range against a movement amount of a foot brake pedal. CONSTITUTION:When a foot brake pedal 9 is stepped down, a lock plate 13 is rotated for preventing movement of a position pin 5 by a cable 11 along a guide member 14 which is arranged in the circular state around a support part 12 and whose radius of curvature is getting smaller toward the support part 12.
