PURPOSE:To attain a simplified construction of a device for electric coil winding, e.g., composite transformer, by using a coil core assembly composed of a substantially H- shaped main core having two shunt cores and a central coil-carrying core connected at its both ends to the lower ends of the shunt cores, and a single tabular outer core connected between the upper edges of the shunt cores. CONSTITUTION:A main core 6 as a major part of the coil winding is formed from a ceramics to have a coil carrying central core 6a and shunt cores 6b and 6c connected to both ends of the central core 6a, such that the main core 6 as a whole exhibits a generally H-shaped configuration when viewed in plan. The central core 6a is positioned not at the centers of the shunt cores 6b, 6c but is connected between the lower ends of the shunt cores 6b, 6c. A bobbin 8 is formed from a synthetic resin to have a coil winding portion 8a of a substantially U-shaped and flanges 8c on both sides thereof, with bases 8b connected to the lower ends of the flanges 8c. The bases 8b are provided with pins 10 projecting therefrom. In assembling, the bobbin 8 is fitted such that the coil winding portion 8a surrounds the core 6a, and a coil is wound on the portion 8a of the bobbin 8. Finally, a rectangular tabular outer core 7 is fixedly attached so as to connect the shunt cores 6b and 6c to each other. |
