TRANSMISSION TYPE THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent transmission type thermal recording material by using a transparent material as a support, polymethyl methacrylate as the binder used in a thermal color forming layer and a specific bls(hydroxyphenyl) acetate compound as a developer. CONSTITUTION:A support is composed of a transparent sheet material and a thermal color forming layer contains polymethyl methacrylate dissolved in toluene as a binder and a bis(hydroxyphenyl)acetate compound represented by formula I (wherein R1 and R2 are respectively independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group) is used as a developer. Further, a dicarboxylic ester compound represented by formula II is contained.
