PURPOSE: To easily obtain nanocapsules excellent in biological compatibility and useful as a medicine, etc., by mixing, stirring and emulsifying a specific solution in an aqueous PVA solution and subsequently evaporating an organic solvent from the obtained fine particle dispersion having a prescribed particle diameter or smaller. CONSTITUTION: This method for producing nanocapsules comprises dissolving polylactic acid, polyglycolic acid or a lactic acid-glycolic acid copolymer and a medicine in a solvent comprising a volatile and water-miscible organic solvent (e.g. acetone) and, if necessary, a volatile solvent capable of dissolving the medicine (e.g. an analgesic), adding the obtained solution to an aqueous PVA solution (preferably having a concentration of (1-3%), stirring and emulsifying the mixture, and subsequently evaporating the organic solvent from the obtained fine particle dispersion having a particle diameter of <1,000nm. |
