The method automatically manages a proper heating state by memorizing a control time according to the heating state by use of a microcomputer. In the microcompute, the minimum and maximum times are set corresponding to the amount of water and powdered coffee. The method comprises a step of heating the water with high power for the minimum time when the supplied electric power is maximum and the water amount included in the syphone is minimum; a step of heating the wate with low power for the maximum time when the supplied electric power is minimum, and the water amount included in the syphone is maximum.
