A support spring, in particular, for lighting appliances, essentially 19 comprises a metal element provided with two essentially "U"-positioned arms, with one of said two arms 12 being sloping relatively to the vertical, the other one 13 being positioned vertically; a shaped opening 14 being furthermore provided, which extends between a middle portion of arm 12 and an upper portion of arm 13, an element 15 extending downwards from arm 13 through said opening 14. The free 19 end of arm 12 being bent to form an upwards extending tongue, the free end 20 of arm 13 being tapered and downwards bent to a hook 21. The hook 21 engaging in use onto an appliance and the arm 12 or the element 15 providing alternative support forces depending on the depth of recess receiving the appliance. <IMAGE> |
