The invention relates to a device for stabilising a spine, in particular the human spine, by a posterior route, combining a rectangular plate (1) equipped with slots (2) which have bevelled edges (5 and 6) and which receive a screw (10), this screw (10) being equipped with a head (14) which has a cylindridal-conical wall (17) cooperating with the bevelled edge (5 or 6) of a location (3 or 4). The device ensures a perfect blocking of the spine, in particular of the human spine, on account of the fact that the screws with a cylindrical-conical head are secured in the locations (3 or 4) of the rectangular plate (1). The device according to the invention is intended in particular for the posterior stabilisation of the spine, in particular of the human spine. <IMAGE>
