Refrigerated display cabinet for service from the rear. The refrigeration is either fan-assisted or static, and may or may not have a superstructure. The cabinet consists of a shell (1), an evaporator (15) and a window (5). It rests on beams (4) and (14) which in turn stand on separate legs (13). According to the invention the front beam (4) is situated forward of the shell in the continuation of the shell and forms an integral part of the cabinet. <IMAGE>
