PURPOSE:To rotate and output image data in the same processing time as a normal image processing by simultaneously and parallelly accessing the image data inputted to a buffer memory with data bus width horizontally and vertically. CONSTITUTION:This image rotating memory device is composed of an address incrementer 41 for write/read, address generating circuit 42 for rotation, multiplexer 43 for switching read, memory cells M1-M8 having the bus width, image data order change circuit 45 and data processing part 46. In the case of rotating and outputting the image, an address order generated by the address generating circuit 42 for rotation is applied to the addresses of the memory cells M1-M8 in a first vertical line. The image is read out by applying an address for rotation to the addresses of the M1-M8 in the next second vertical line. The respective trains of the image data are simultaneously read out similarly afterwards, and the rotated image is obtained by repeating a change at the data order change circuit 45. |
