PURPOSE:To decrease the number of writing times, to eliminate the need of a preliminary EEPROM, to reduce cost and to improve availability. CONSTITUTION:This controller is provided with a counter for counting the number of image forming actions, a no-voltage detecting means 6 for detecting the no-voltage of a power source, a non-volatile memory 2 having a 1st area where the counting data of the counter is stored for backup when the means 6 detects the no-voltage, and a control means 5 which adds a previously set specified number which is >=2 to various kinds of counting data stored in the 2nd area of the memory 2 every time the counter counts the specified number and restores the added result in the 2nd area of the memory 2. |
