PURPOSE:To stop a motor tricycle safely with no impact upon collision against an obstacle by a constitution wherein a switch, interposed between bumper and body, detects collision of an expanding/contracting bumper against an obstacle and interrupts power supply to a motor. CONSTITUTION:When a motor tricycle body 1 collides head-on against an obstacle, a bumper frame 7 moves straight with respect to the body 1. At that time, the bumper frame 7 moves through rotation of first and second rotary shafts 10, 11, and a magnet 12 is separated from a lead switch 13 thus interrupting current supply to a motor. The bumper frame 7 then moves toward the body 1 in order to absorb inertia. The bumper frame 7 moves through rotation of the first and second rotary shafts 10, 11 even upon oblique collision of the body 1 against the obstacle and the magnet 12 separates from the lead switch 13 to stop rotation of the motor. |
