PURPOSE:To display the reception of mail at real time without necessity for always opening a window for mail list display at the work station to be used while being connected to a communication network. CONSTITUTION:When an operation control part 11 judges the reception of mail data through a communication interface 19 based on the file control during a normal control processing, the window for mail list display is forcedly opened in the prescribed area of a display part 15 through a display controller 14, and a mail list obtained with the file control of the mail data is read from a large capacity filing device 12 and displayed in the window.
