ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT EQUIPPED WITH SOUND VOLUME CONTROL PEDAL

PURPOSE:To improve the performance expressing ability without spoiling the operability by providing a low-frequency component reinforcing means which relatively reinforces the low-frequency component of a note generation signal at the time of low sound volume corresponding to the operation of the sound volume control pedal. CONSTITUTION:Sound signals corresponding to the right hand and left hand are supplied to a voltage control amplifier(VCA) 9. The VCA 9 controls the sound volume levels of the sound signals in response to a sound volume control signal generated by the sound volume control pedal 11. The outputs of buffer amplifiers 7 and 8 are supplied to a low-pass filter 10 as well and the low-frequency components of the outputs are passed through resistances R1 and R2 and added to the output of the VCA 9. The output level of the low-pass filter 10 is invariably constant irrelevantly to the operation of the sound volume control pedal 11. Therefore, when low sound volume is set with the sound volume pedal, low-frequency reinforcement effect is remarkable and a deficiency in low frequency sound which is caused at this time can be compensated without using a manual operation means such as a loudness switch.
