<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of a main CPU and to surely secure the peak of a voice level by holding the maximum value of the voice date and converting this maximum level into the level display image data. CONSTITUTION:A signal. processor 43 is provided to process the voice data and also to detect the maximum value of the voice date together with a latch circuit 44 which holds the maximum value of the voice data received from the processor 43, and a main CPU 1.0 which reads the data of the maximum value out of the circuit 44 to convert this data into the level display image data, resets the data of the maximum value held in the circuit 44, and also processes other data. The CPU 10 reads the data out of the circuit 44 et a time interval larger than the sampling cycle of the voice data. Therefore the CPU 10 is not required to periodically receive the absolute value of the voices.</p> |
