PURPOSE:To solve a disadvantage of inconvenient speech due to an alarm tone when the speech is desired to be continued even when speech quality is somewhat poor in the radio telephone system. CONSTITUTION:When an alarm tone representing out of zone is received by a radio telephone set and the user of the radio telephone set feels the alarm tone to be offensive to the ear, the user depresses an 'F' button of an operation button section 112. A control section 101 detects an alarm tone stop command signal sent through the depression of the 'F' button. The control section 101 controls an alarm tone source 110 to stop the transmission of the alarm tone.
