PURPOSE:To provide an electronic component mounting device which can separately conduct an external appearance inspection and position correction recognition of an electronic component, hold both accurate and improve a mounting efficiency and reliability. CONSTITUTION:The electronic component mounting device sucks an electronic component 1 contained in a component supply unit 10 by a suction nozzle 12, conveys it to a printed circuit board P, and mounts it on a circuit pattern of the board. The device comprises an external appearance inspecting mechanism 13 for inspecting the external appearance of the component conveyed from the supply unit, and a position correction recognizing mechanism 14 for conveying only the component judged to be non-defective by the inspecting mechanism and recognizing the positional correction of the component. The component recognized for the positional correction of the component by the recognizing mechanism is mounted on a circuit pattern of the board. |
