PURPOSE:To allow a caller subscriber to select whether or not a channel is connected in response to the position of a called subscriber before the connection of the channel. CONSTITUTION:When a radio terminal equipment 7 makes a dialing with 'special number + number of radio terminal equipment 8' commanding 'channel connection is selected after current position of a called subscriber is informed', a radio exchange station 4 inquires the information of the radio terminal equipment 8 to a radio base station 5. The radio terminal equipment 8 recognizes it that position is registered in a service area 3 of a radio exchange station 6 and the radio base station 4 recognizes it that the radio terminal equipment 8 is in existence in the service area 3 based on the reply information from the radio exchange station 5 and informs it to a radio terminal equipment 7. A caller subscriber of the radio terminal equipment 7 is informed of the current position of the radio terminal equipment 8 being the called subscriber from the radio exchange station 4 and informs whether or not the speech connection is to be implemented to the radio exchange station 4 by prescribed button operation. The radio exchange station 4 connects the channel or disconnects it accordingly. |
