Drying combination device

The invention relates to a drying combination device which comprises a hydrophilic cellular body and a skin; the aforementioned skin forming a sheath around the aforementioned hydrophilic cellular body and/or being attached to the latter over at least a part of its outer surface by a permeable and insoluble joint. The aforementioned skin is a one-sided skin which consists of a hydrophilic non-woven - possessing an absorption time of not more than 5 s, a water retention of not less than 30% and a basis weight of at least 250 g/m<2> and whose weight average linear fibre density is less than 5 dtex - covered on its outside by a compressible porous hydrophobic layer. The abovementioned combination device is characterised by a high mopping capacity.
