Infrared source emitting intense energy, having low thermal inertia and, more particularly, intended to be one of the two physical, coaxial sources of a collimator. The infrared source is made from a heating material (1) and from a conducting material (3) for leading in the electrical current, which are deposited on an insulating support (2), the said infrared source being pierced by a calibrated hole (6) at the centre of which the second emitting source is focused. <IMAGE>
